School Leadership

Amy Harrington has been the school director at Frederick Douglass since October 2018. She came to the role after working for 3 years supporting schools across the Oakmont Education network. Amy has worked in education since 2007, including over 8 years in early childhood education. She has a bachelor's degree from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. When she isn't helping her students earn their high school diploma, Amy spends her time traveling, cheering for Cleveland's sports teams, and spending time with her friends, her family, and most of all her dog.
